My journey to becoming a physician started in an unlikely place: French Literature.

Understanding people’s motivations, innermost desires and looking at the unconscious mind was the focus in my studies as a French Literature major.

I turned toward an integrative approach for pain relief, understanding ways to improve quality of life while living with constant pain. Healing isn’t absence of the condition. It is the harmony of the physical, mental and emotional well-being.

My Background : I am an Integrative Family Medicine Doctor specialized in Mind Body Medicine. I am a certified mindfulness mentor , teacher and a certified pain coach trained in advanced pain reprocessing therapy.

My hope is to share these insights and empower you to be able to live well with chronic illness and pain.

This approach is founded in Integrative Medicine. Integrative Medicine (IM) is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapies.
